Terms for Talecut

Last updated: 29 July 2026

Talecut is a product of Bitmovin, and Bitmovin’s Terms of Service governs your use of it. They cover the contract, liability, termination and governing law. The sections below add the terms specific to uploading video to Talecut.

What the service does

Talecut turns a source video you upload into a set of short vertical episodes. It is provided on an “as is” basis, results depend on the source material, and the service may change.

Your content and the rights to it

  • You keep ownership of the video you upload and of the episodes generated from it.
  • You warrant that you hold the rights to the source material and to have it processed this way. Talecut produces a derivative work of whatever you upload — do not upload a film or episode you are not permitted to use.
  • You grant us the limited licence needed to store and process your upload solely to provide the service to you, and for no other purpose.
  • We do not use your video to train models.

If you believe material on Talecut infringes your rights, write to privacy@bitmovin.com with enough detail to identify the material and your claim to it, and we will act on it. Bitmovin’s legal notice lists its formal contact details.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, and any age requirement in Bitmovin’s Terms of Service applies here too. Provide accurate details. You can delete your account at any time from the account page.

Acceptable use

Do not use Talecut to infringe others’ rights, to process unlawful content, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Everything else

Liability, disclaimers, termination, governing law and venue are as set out in Bitmovin’s Terms of Service. This page only adds to them. Where the two conflict, Bitmovin’s Terms of Service prevail.
